Exploiting Office 365 for Digital Matter & Case Management: A Transformational Journey for Law Firms and Legal Teams
10.15am - 10.45am
Cutting-edge practices need to match cutting-edge minds if law
firms and in-house legal teams want to stay relevant, and digital matter and
case management offers the key. Here Graham Richardson, partner at
global top 40 law firm, Eversheds Sutherland (ES), describes how the firm has
successfully worked with Repstor to exploit Office 365 for Matter Management ,
a decision that is maximising fee earner time and transforming transparency.
From proof of concept Graham will chart the journey from both a
user/fee-earner and IT perspective to highlight today’s system that encompasses
a rich business intelligence dashboard, harnessing Microsoft Power BI
management reporting, while providing visual dashboards of the status of each
matter. At ES the big difference to fee earners is that they can now access
their matters directly within Outlook, whether on- or offline, while enjoying
rich email management, document management and search capabilities all directly
within their familiar Outlook environment.
