Head of Incident Response, University of Cambridge
Kieren Niĉolas Lovell is currently the Head of Incident Response at the University of Cambridge. As well as leading the University in detecting, detering and defending our IT infrastructure against Information Security Incidents, he is also responsible for educating on Cyber Threats to Researchers, Staff and Students of the University, and to make sure we remain compliant.
Before working at the University of Cambridge, Kieren spent thirteen years in the Navy, employed both within the Royal Norwegian Navy and the Royal Navy (UK). His last operational tour was as a Kapteinløytant in the the Gulf of Aden, where he was responsible for Information Security for five warships, with the task forces role of mitigating the pirate threat in Somalia.
